Hauraki Ready for Year of the Devil

by | Jul 27, 2017

Weller Hauraki spoke to salfordreddevils.net about how he wants to rectify his Ladbrokes Challenge Cup record with the Red Devils this season ahead of Sunday’s semi-final clash with Wigan.
Hauraki, has suffered defeats in the Challenge Cup final with both Leeds Rhinos and Castleford Tigers however he feels this year could be different as the Red Devils continue to build on their fantastic season aiming to visit Wembley for the first time since 1969.
“Yeah, 100% we can change that. We’ve definitely got the team to do it,” Hauraki said regarding the possibility of ending his Challenge Cup woes.
“If we get to the game in the Challenge Cup final on the day I’ll have no regrets that we’ll do the job.
“All the boys know what their jobs are and if they bring what they have done all year they’re going to help us no matter what.”
