Salford Red Devils have teamed up with The Lowry to host a takeover day at the AJ Bell Stadium for our clash against Wakefield Trinity on Sunday 16thJune.
Dr Devil, Rob Lui and Jackson Hastings paid a visit to The Lowry Theatre at Salford Quays this week, combining sports with the arts to build-up to an exciting family fun takeover day.
Working in partnership to bring the people of Salford together on gameday, The Lowry will bring a day of exciting activities and entertainment for the whole family.
Before the game
Salford fans and Lowry members can enjoy pop-up dance performances and entertainment from stilts walkers and unicyclists outside the stadium from midday.
Salfordians will also have the opportunity to get involved with dance and circus workshops on the 3G pitch.
Our marquee will play host to the Elior gameday bar with pints from £3, alongside arts and crafts activities to keep the kids entertained in the build-up to the match.
WildThang’s pop-up stall will be on hand before kick-off with Salford merchandise from the club shop, with catering vans positioned in both the outside forecourt and area between the West and South stands.
The Lowry will have an information stand for fans to find out more about the theatre.
Half-time will see the return of The Lowry’s stilts walkers, unicyclists and dancers on the pitch to entertain both Salford and Wakefield fans.
Lowry staff will also be situated at pitch-side to answer any questions and queries.
The Salford matchday programme will be on sale before and after kick-off to bring fans all of the latest news and information at the club.
